Maryvale UFSD
Project Details
- Project Type
- Athletic Complexes
Creative site design can transform a limited and constrained site into a more versatile and valuable resource for a K–12 school. By strategically and thoughtfully configuring sports fields, districts can leverage their existing site into a fully functional and aesthetic athletic complex to support their programs. A well-planned complex can support a multitude of sports and activities without sacrificing safety, circulation, or the quality of each playing environment. The 2018 Multi-Phase Capital Improvement Project at Maryvale UFSD included the following:
- Synthetic turf infields at the baseball and softball fields.
- Synthetic turf field inside the existing track.
- Repair of existing tennis courts and addition of new courts and fencing.
- Extension of synthetic turf infields at the baseball and softball fields to include the outfield.
- Design of a soccer field in the baseball outfield.
