Greece CSD

Attractive, safe athletic facilities do more than support competition—they create places where students build confidence, develop teamwork, and take pride in representing their school, while giving families and the broader community welcoming spaces to gather and connect. For a district with four distinct high school identities, thoughtful site design was especially important in creating facilities that feel connected to the larger district while allowing each school to maintain its own sense of character and pride. Purposeful design elevates these facilities beyond athletic venues; they serve as shared community spaces that strengthen school identity, encourage participation, and create lasting connections among students, families, and their schools. The 2019 Reimagine Greece project involved the renovation and upgrades to multiple athletic fields:

Arcadia High School

• New multi-sport synthetic turf field within existing track stadium with scoreboard, sports lighting.
• Varsity baseball field and softball field renovations including synthetic infields, sod outfields with drainage improvements, backstops and fencing, bleacher pads, scoreboards, and new batting cage.
• New storage building.
• Ticket booth/entry feature to track stadium.
• ADA/emergency access path to connect campus athletic facilities.
• Grading and drainage improvements to existing grass playfields.

Athena High School

• New multi-sport synthetic turf field with scoreboard, sports lighting, fencing, and bleachers.
• Grading and drainage improvements to existing grass playfields.
• Renovation of existing fields to create two football practice fields including sod and drainage.
• Varsity baseball field and softball field renovations including synthetic turf infields, sod outfields with drainage improvements, backstops and fencing, bleacher pads, scoreboards, and new batting cage.
• Junior Varsity baseball field renovations including new clay infield and sod outfield with drainage improvements, backstop, and player seating.
• ADA/emergency access path to connect campus athletic facilities.
• Ticket booth/entry feature, new concession/bathroom/storage building.

Olympia High School

• New multi-sport synthetic turf field within existing track stadium with scoreboard, sports lighting.
• Varsity softball field renovations including sod with drainage improvements.
• Varsity baseball field improvements including synthetic turf infield and outfield.
• Backstops and fencing, bleacher pads, and new batting cage.
• Renovation and reconfiguration of grass athletic fields including drainage improvements.
• Ticket booth/entry feature, new concession/bathroom/storage building.
• ADA/emergency access path to connect campus athletic facilities.

Odyssey High School

• New scoreboard and sports lighting to existing track stadium.
• Varsity baseball renovations including sod with drainage improvements, backstop and fencing, bleacher pads, and new batting cage.
• Varsity softball field renovations including synthetic turf infield and outfield with drainage improvements, backstop and fencing, bleacher pads, scoreboard, and new batting cage.
