East Syracuse Minoa CSD

The benefits of synthetic turf athletic fields are expressly apparent in the Upstate NY climate. Having a surface that is less affected by rain and more resilient in changing weather is an asset to athletics programs with spring and fall sports that need to practice and play outdoors. East Syracuse Minoa CSD had invested in a synthetic turf field in 2009, and the 2023 Capital Improvement Project addressed the need for its replacement, as well as other athletic facility improvements. This project included:

• Replacement of the synthetic turf football, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey field within the track including redesigned centerfield logo and endzones.
• Reconstruction of the athletic track including color contrasted exchange zones.
• Renovations at the baseball field.
